GETTING STARTED

From sender to television in three clear steps.

ORIVUNO is designed to make the receiver side predictable. The exact casting controls remain on your phone, tablet, computer, or sending app.

    Connect the devices

    Put the sender and television on the same trusted Wi-Fi or wired local network.

  2. 02

    Start a compatible cast

    Open the sender's mirroring or media menu, then select the television running ORIVUNO.

  3. 03

    Approve when asked

    When an unfamiliar sender appears, confirm or reject the request with the television remote.

BEFORE YOU CAST

Compatibility has clear boundaries.

ORIVUNO receives compatible requests. The sender app, protocol, network, television decoder, and content policy still determine the final result.

For a compatibility check, include the TV model, sender device, app or media type, and the step where playback stops.

  • Network

    Both devices normally need the same trusted local network. Guest isolation, VPNs, and router filtering can prevent discovery.

  • Media formats

    HTTP, HTTPS, HLS, DASH, and local-network media work only when the stream, container, codec, and television are compatible.

  • Protected content

    DRM or sender-app policy may block casting or produce a black screen. ORIVUNO does not bypass content protection.

  • Certification

    ORIVUNO is a compatible receiver implementation. It is not presented as Google Cast, Chromecast, or Apple certified.

Casting begins on a trusted network, unknown senders require television-side confirmation, and paid access is granted only after server verification.

    Media paths stay local where the protocol allows; online services are used only for functions such as entitlement and integrity verification.

    Explicit sender approval

    An unknown device does not receive permanent access automatically. The television presents the approval decision.

    Channel isolation

    The Google Play build excludes mainland direct payment, QR checkout, APK installation, and self-update code.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What to know before the Play release.

Is ORIVUNO already available on Google Play?

No. The Play edition remains an engineering preview while real Google TV testing, store configuration, signing provenance, legal review, and localization are completed.

Can I buy or download the Play edition from this website?

No. This international website has no checkout or APK download. When released, the Play edition will be distributed and billed through Google Play.

Do the sender and television need the same network?

For the supported local casting paths, yes in normal use. Network isolation, multicast filtering, or VPN routing can stop discovery even when both devices show the same Wi-Fi name.

Why can protected video show a black screen?

Streaming apps and operating systems may prevent mirroring or external playback for DRM-protected content. Codec, container, and television decoder support can also affect playback.

Is ORIVUNO an officially certified casting product?

ORIVUNO implements compatible receiver paths, but it is not presented as Google Cast, Chromecast, or Apple certified. Availability varies by sender and content.

RELEASE STATUS

Built as a real channel, not a renamed package.

The Google Play edition has a separate application identity, Play Billing and Integrity integration, server-side purchase verification, entitlement reconciliation, and authenticated real-time notifications. It is still an engineering preview, not a store release.

  • Real Google TV internal-track testing is still required.
  • Cross-device purchase restoration is not available yet.
